Ideally you should try moving your icon database aside (~/Library/ Safari/Icons/) to see if that fixes the problem and, if so, zip up that directory and attach it to a new bug at bugzilla.opendarwin.org.

I am not sure if I should post this here, but every version since 16342 crashes upon opening on my account. This doesn't happen on my daughter's non admin account. I have disabled all pre panes and application enhancers to no avail. Here is the crash log. Can someone point me in the right direction to look? Thanks

It looks to me as though your cached favicon database has become corrupted. You should be able to fix it by trashing the ~/Library/ Safari/Icons folder.

Obviously if this is the cause, then there is a flaw in the code somewhere which causes it to die instead of fail gracefully.
