I was told that this would be more appropriate for the WebKitGTK+ team
to implement.

Thanks,

Subject: Using V8 as the JavaScript engine in Epiphany
To: [email protected]

I was just wondering if you guys looked into using V8 as Epiphany's
JavaScript engine. Google open-sourced it under the BSD license so
there would be no legal issues with using it.

http://code.google.com/intl/sv/apis/v8/intro.html

It seems like the issues I'm having with Epiphany are all
JavaScript-based (like this issue here:
https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=619197). Switching to V8
might save you guys a lot of work and make Epiphany a better browser
in the process.

Thanks,
Ryan
