Have you asked to the Fedora support people? I don't know much about Ruby but it seems like this issue doesn't have much to do with WebKitGTK itself. Also, GTK+2 support in WebKitGTK+ is not really maintained anymore, AFAIK. You should consider porting your application to GTK+3.
