I am jumping from release 2.0.1 release to 2.2.3 release and noticed
difference in user agent signature. Both builds are built on Ubuntu
12.04 and executed on same OS. Why does it report as Intel Mac OS X for
newer build?
For 2.0.1 signature is
Mozilla/5.0 (X11;*Linux x86_64*) AppleWebKit/537.32 (KHTML, like Gecko)
Chromium/25.0.1349.2 Chrome/25.0.1349.2 Safari/537.32
But for 2.2.3 its
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; *Intel Mac OS X*) AppleWebKit/538.1 (KHTML, like
Gecko) Safari/538.1
