Interesting! I'll look into it (but I will not be recompiling it soon, hopefully). My system is a 2 core 64bit Pentium 1.8Ghz. w/ 4GiB ram. I'm compiling with -O2 and -msse -msse3 etc. instructions. The reason I'm not using binaries, despite the fact that they might exist, is because if webkit is so big then it follows that execution time will also be big and so better compilation would be desirable.
