Thanks anyway, Adam, but that's not what I mean.  As I said I have
successfully run the build.  Those environment variables have to be set to
do that.

I haven't yet seen anything that tells me what exactly the --debug option of
build-webkit is doing and how it works.
 
--debug tells build-webkit to do a build of the Debug configuration of
WebKit.sln. The default is to do a build of the Release configuration.
