(I am apologizing for the boardness of my question.)
I think you need something like the DumpRenderTree, without generating
informations that are specific to rendering.
(Actually, the DRT needs X to build up rendering info.) I do not know
how hard it would be to downgrade DRT to that level.
DRT experts?
