Why using Qt Mobility 1.0.x exclude Qt 4.6 platforms? afaik, Qt Mobility 1.0.x doesn't depend on Qt 4.7. There's Qt Mobility packages for the N900. Indeed, Qt Mobility is a bit vague, it depends on the API you need/want.
