Hello QtWebKit users and contributors! As it has been announced Nokia is outsourcing its Symbian software development and support activities.
Our recent QtWebKit 2.2 release supports Symbian however we at Nokia have no longer have plans to continue maintaining the Symbian support on WebKit trunk neither we have plans to make future QtWebKit releases that supports the Symbian platform. We plan to remove the Symbian supporting bits from WebKit trunk later this week; see https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=69920. If you or someone you know has an interest for actively maintaining the Symbian port for QtWebKit with the required supporting functions (public buildbot, running API tests, etc.) please let us know!
