Hi,
Fisrt try to clone Qt5 somewhere to a qt5 directory, as Gábor said.
And then copy build-qt5.sh and build-qt5-env next to qt5 directory.
After then it should work.

This is because the script doesn't contain the qt5 repo cloning command.
First get the repo like this,
git clone https://git.gitorious.org/qt/qt5.git
and after you can run the script.

Already up-to-date.
lindsay@lindsay-kubuntu-12:/data/dev/qt5-tools$ sudo sh build-qt5.sh
build-qt5.sh: 8: cd: can't cd to qt5
Already on 'master'
HEAD is now at 7e529cf minor cross-tool fix
fatal: Could not parse object
