There is QtWebKit 2.3.4 for Qt 4.8 (which was not officially released as a part 
of Qt), based on the same WebKit code as version shipped with Qt 5.0 and 5.1, 
however, indeed both QtWebKit versions are REALLY out of date (like "almost a 
decade ago"), so using any of them is not recommended.
