As far as new widget based navigation is concerned all you need is the following from the widget directory in my 20081014 branch:
dispatcher selector-mixin selector navigation I've ported them over to the modern-dispatch branch, with some changes to accomodate the dispatch changes, but it's still probably 99% compatible, so you could start using those now.
