I think kyoto tycoon + kyoto cabinet hit the sweet spot in the balance
between features and ease of use. (Ideally I would like to use only cabinet
because of my local only needs through cffi, but KC is in C++ and I dont
dare to begin that endevour now). Then I saw the http/rpc interface of kyoto
tycoon to the underlying database (which by default is kyoto cabinet) is
very convenient. I use drakma to do the requests.
