First of all, I'm new to webobjects, please avoid RTMF answers :)
I won't even begin to spell out that acronym... or imagine how
you'd do that.
Read the Fine Manual ? :)
Moreover, I'd like to know if I can build an EJB-like architecture
with WO : some xserves serving framework objects (I have to build
a really big website).
That would depend. It you mean EJBs as service objects, sure. You
could vend them via web services. If you mean as entity beans, uh,
well, probably, but there are easier ways to kill performance.
I think there might be a HTTP transport for RMI and you might be
able to hack it into WOs load balancing, so you could probably also
use this instead of WebServices, but I haven't ever tried that.
That was the idea in fact. But I'm afraid of performances of such an
architecture. I'll make some tests and come again in a few months
with argumented point of view.
Thank you for your response.
