Hi!
Having more than one wotaskd and monitor on the same machine is
bad. Don't do it!
I *think* you can manage what you want by using virtual hosts, and
by creating several sites on the monitor application. Instead of
creating a localhost site, create the real sites, like site1.com,
site2.com, etc. And then, create the applications inside them. I
think it should work. I have never done this (although I really need
it, it's on my sys admin schedule) but from what I read, I think this
is the right way.

Dear WO gurus,
I am having trouble figuring out how to do this. And can't find
any help after reading the "Deploying Applications" manual and
searching the list archive. I hope you can help me.
I have a setup on a 1.3 server where I have 2 sites running (2
wotaskd and 2 womonitor.) This is done with the WebObjects script
in the StartupItems directory. But I realize that in 1.4, Apple is
using launchd to acoomplish this. I can't figure out how to
duplicate my old setup with the new launchd.
Things I have tried so far. I have created a
com.apple.wotaskd2.plist and com.apple.monitor2.plist in the
LaunchDaemons directory with different WOPort but still only one
instance of wotaskd is started. I also can't figure out where to
specified the WODeploymentConfigurationDirectory for my 2nd wotaskd.
Has anyone tried this on the Tiger server? Please share with me
any info you have on this if you can.
Please let me know if you need more info or if I am not very
clear. Thank you very much.
