Hi all,
We just installed a new xserve with 10.5. It is in environment that
has an Xserve running 10.4. The 10.4 server is running webobjects
and monitor. I cannot launch any applications on the new server from
monitor. I can manually start applications and they tell me to
connect at
http://192.168.169.5/cgi-bin/WebObjects/TestWorld.woa/-53970
The -53970 indicates that it is a development launch, which is to be
expected if you are not copying the additional parameters from
JavaMonitor.
when I put the url into a browser, I get
The requested application was not found on this server.
Try launching it with
-WOHost localhost
added to the command line. But see below:
I can connect to wotaskd with the browser and it tells me this:
Available applications:
-NONE-

That seems odd for a server. The canonical name of the server should
be used for this and the WOHost for the app and the Host in JavaMontior.

Any ideas on how to get the application to connect to the adaptor? I
checked permissions and they seem ok.
Thanks in advance
I suspect you have a host name mismatch.
