Hi,
I should probably go into a little more detail. I have my apps
deployed on a server on a private internal network. I have another
server with an interface on both my network and on the internet.
I've been using mod_proxy to make my apps internet accessible. I've
got webobjects 5.3 installed on my deployment server and I'm
packaging my frameworks within my app. I've been deploying from
webobjects 5.3 but when I reinstalled my computer recently I decided
to stick with WO 5.4.
When I deployed my app from my new install, WebObjects 5.4 puts an
absolute URL into the action fields on forms, so my app would not
work through the mod_proxy server. It still works fine from within
the private network and through direct connect. Deploying the
application from a machine running 5.3 fixed the problem.
How do i either change the hostname it inserts, or change this
behavior back to creating a relative URL as per webobjects 5.3?
Which version of 5.4?
Is there a secure binding on the form?
Chuck

Subject: 5.4 puts absolute URL in form path
Hi
I just deployed what was previously a 5.3 app with the 5.4
frameworks, now <wo:form> seems to generate an absolute url based
on the full hostname, whereas previously it submitted to a relative
url. How do I turn this behavior off?
