just testing out an app that's been upgraded from WebObjects
5.3.3/Wonder 4.x to WO5.4.3/Wonder 5.x.
Running locally (apache2.2) works fine.
However on our test server (freebsd 7.1/apache2.2)... Java
Monitor/wotaskd (5.4.1) can't see it. I'm tailing the log for the
app and all seems well.
Turning on adaptor logging isn't much help, of course:
Debug: <WebObjects Apache Module> new translate: /cgi-bin/
WebObjects/MyApp.woa
Info: <WebObjects Apache Module> new request: /cgi-bin/WebObjects/
MyApp.woa
Debug: App Name: MyApp.woa (8)
Info: V4 URL: /cgi-bin/WebObjects/MyApp.woa
Info: tr_selectInstance(): scheduler failed to select instance.
Error: Request handling error: The requested application was not
found on this server.
Any suggestions on tracking down this problem?
Thanks.
I'm wondering if the lifebeat stuff is at play here as this was
the problem I initially had running on my dev machine...
Check the WOHost settings on the app and wotaskd.
That was it thanks.
I thought Java Monitor used to add this automatically to the
arguments no? i.e., when you create a new instance you choose what
host it's allotted for. So this sounds like a bug.
I'm not sure if it did before or not. It certainly sounds like
something it should do.

Anjo do you have any objections to this being done in Wonder's wotaskd/
JM?
