Hi Ute, In my case I just installed from the latest Leopard-compatible installer (WO 5.4.x), which installed WebObjects in the usual places just as they would on 10.5.x.
JavaMonitor and wotaksd can be found in the same directory path(s): /System/Library/WebObjects/JavaApplications. Then I used Lingon ( http://sourceforge.net/projects/lingon/files/) to easily add wotaskd and JavaMonitor to launchd (and launch on bootup). Just create a new "User Daemon" in Lingon, give it a name along launchd naming conventions, click "Choose" to browse your filesystem and drill down to the Unix executable of wotaskd and JavaMonitor respectively (or type the complete path when starting them from Terminal like so: "/System/Library/WebObjects/JavaApplications/wotaskd.woa/wotaskd &"), then tick the "Run it when it is loaded by the system" option before saving. Reboot and test JavaMonitor (host:56789) or wotaskd (host:1085). Then you can install and deploy your other WO apps just as you would under Leopard. Btw, one thing I did change as per Chuck's suggestion was to use Wonder's Apache adaptor instead of the one that got installed by default. You can download the latest Apache WebObjects module from Project Wonder's site. In my case I just copied it into the same directory where the original was installed so I don't have to edit my WO apache.conf file anymore. 2009/11/13 ute Hoffmann <u.hoffm...@tt-pixelmind.com> > Hi, > I downloaded the installer from the WO Community Website and installed > WebObjects with > this installer (the 5.4 one) on the server.
