I was imagining that servlet deployment would be less hassle to set up, since presumably the IT guys know how Tomcat works and can hold my hand through the process. Also, I don't want to frighten them too much by mentioning an app server they've never heard of. What are the downsides to deploying with Tomcat? To install wotaskd and Monitor, are you saying I need a user called "appserver", or will any other username do? Also, I assume I'd have to get an administrator to install the Apache module required, right?
