I tried to use LEIPPPrintJob, but I have the same problem, it scale the pdf. Here is a sample pdf that I'm using to check that it doesn't try to scale the pdf :

Attachment: Coins.pdf
Description: Adobe PDF document

Depending on the pritable area of your printer, it should hide the most of the cross.

When I send it to my postscript printer, it try to scale it down.
Is it something that should be fixed in CUPS or elsewhere ?

How to tell to use raw stream ?

Thanks,

Hello;

I'm trying to use JIPSI, and have moderate success.

I got a bit frustrated (read : very frustrated) trying to get IPP printing going so I wrote my own IPP client code -- this is embodied in "LEIPPPrintJob" which you can download from my website (http://www.lindesay.co.nz/ -- see "webobjects") and use. The PDF overview carries an outline of how to use it. It is very simple ...

LEIPPPrintJob pj = new LEIPPPrintJob();
pj.setIPPHost("wellington.foo.co.nz");
pj.setPrinterPath("/printers/volumeprinter");
pj.setData(bytes);
pj.setJobName("Die Dokument wird bald ausgedruckt!");

try { pj.deliver(); }
catch(LEException lee)
{ /* handle the exception nicely */ }

I use it in a production system doing quite large print runs, but it may or may not be suitable for your purpose.

cheers.
