Thank a lot to David Avendasora for having post the solution

In case someone else runs into this, maybe it will save you the joy of tracking down the error ... I launched eomodeler and some weird error about the JDBC adaptor not being found and Set Adaptor Info was grayed out.  Turns out I just recently upgraded to the latest and greatest 1.5 and set it to be my Current jdk.  Don't do that :)  I don't know if this happens with previous 1.5 builds or just the latest dev release, but just make a mental note.  It works fine w/ 1.5 installed, just not set to be Current.

I think I have a problem on my machine but I cannot find out how to solve it :(
I have the JDBCEOAdaptor (if you don't have it, you don't see JDBC in the new wizard)
I have reinstalled WO 5.3 and I have still the same message (even for JNDI)

F... what can I do?

I did not read carefully enough the first time.  I thought this was a runtime error.  Now I see that it is an EOModeler error.  Is
/System/Library/Frameworks/JDBCEOAdaptor.framework
On your machine. EOModeler is an Obj-C app, so that is probably what it is looking for.

Otherwise, it looks like a bug in EOModeler or a problem on  your machine.

Yes it's in my project (/System/Library/Frameworks/JavaJDBCAdaptor.framework ) , I am using W0 5.3 and EOmodeler 5.3
Here is the full error message:

Unable to load the JDBC adaptor: classForAdaptorNamed:: Unable to load the bundle for the adaptor named JDBC. The possible causes for this error are: the adaptor executable cannot be dynamically linked into your application, you are on PDO and have not linked the adaptor into your application, or the adaptor executable is not present on your host.

Any more idea?

That error would be for the JavaJDBCAdaptor.framework.  Is is present, OK, and included in your project?

Hello,

Suddenly (may after an software or security update) I have a new error when I use EOmodeler:

"Unable to load the JDBC adaptor: classForAdaptorNamed:: Unable to load the bundle for the adaptor named JDBC. "

But I have the mysql JDBC connector on my machine, my WebObject Application works fine. Did someone have this issue?
Thanks
Seb
