If you check out the framework on my site, you will find a class
called "LEImageHelper" that has a number of methods starting
"generateThumbnail...(...)" which could do this job for you. If you
use this, pass "-Djava.awt.headless=true" as a startup argument to
your WOA so that the JVM doesn't start trying to connect to a window
server.
