Our app is a WOLips/Eclipse/WO 5.2.4/Cayenne application with 3 frameworks, 2 applications, and a set of web services deployed as a set of J2EE servlets. It is a pretty large set of applications.
We have an ANT Script that we use to build everything into a single ZIP that we can deploy on a CD.
Here are some compile/build times:
- Intel HP Pavillion 850mhz 512meg RAM: 57 minutes 26 seconds
- 15” Titanium Powerbook (1 ghz, 1gig RAM): 23 minutes 45 seconds
- G5 dual 2.0 ghz 3 gig RAM: 4 minutes 6 seconds
- Macbook Pro (see above): 3 minutes 22 seconds
