hi-

WOBuilder can't accept arbitrary HTML in its layout mode. See the system console (/Applications/Utilities/Console) for error messages when WOBuilder flakes out.

I'm not sure what you're saying here. WOBuilder isn't supposed to accept any raw HTML in its Layout View. It needs to be in Source View to do that. Or, perhaps I'm misunderstanding your message.

Hi, Kieran,

I've recently noticed that under certain circumstances (which I haven't yet taken the time to isolate) I can't update the Layout View in any way. Is this what you're referencing? If not, what problems are you seeing?

I will probably spend some time this weekend to isolate the circumstances, but I'm fairly sure this behavior has nothing to do with Preferences or the Defaults system. So when I've isolated it, I'll file a bug report. This, of course, shouldn't stop you from filing one as well, if you're experiencing the same bug.

Jerry

Is it just me or is the new WOBuilder 5.3.1 totally flaky when it comes to GUI behaviour and element selection? Have other noticed this? .... Before I do bug report, is there some fix like "defaults write com.apple ....blah, blah" to blow away preferences or something? .... WOBuilder may look prettier, but it has gone backwards in terms of productivity :-(
