Argl - I was totally brain-dead this morning - sure. You are right. These relationships are not shown on the page, they should get set in the awakeFromInsertion phase in the object itself.

So, because the values don't pass the "takeValueForKey" phase, they don't go through "validateTakeValueFor..." so I don't get a callback for them. *argl*
