Hi,

I'm encountering a "java.io.IOException: Permission denied" when launching a newly created Direct to Java Client project. The full stack trace follows.

java.lang.Error: java.io.IOException: Permission denied
        at com.sun.javaws.SplashGenerator.splashError(SplashScreen.java:430)
        at com.sun.javaws.SplashGenerator.create(SplashScreen.java:338)
        at com.sun.javaws.SplashGenerator.run(SplashScreen.java:207)

This is reported on the client side (ie: not part of the parent WOApp's run log). The classes and stuff download and the Java Web Start app offers to integrate the client app into my desktop, but then the exception comes up. Does anyone know what might be causing the exception? It's probably a permissions thing somewhere, but permissions to what?

Thanks,

King Chung Huang
