Hi!

Just confirming, but... I suppose all those places have non- alcoholic drinks and food! I don't drink alcohol, but I'm always ready to eat some tasty stuff and drink fruit juices! :)

  (Yes, I don't drink, and I wash... I'm not a real geek! ;) )

Dully noted, but after Chucks comment, the open mic thing sounds more

However, I looked into Thirsty Bear. Because of our size we can
comfortably get the billiard room for free, but the catch is the
minimal payment stuff:

<Snip>
Food and Beverage Minimums: Food minimum requirement is $20.00+ + per person. We recommend a minimum of $20.00++ per person for an appetizer
reception or lunch and $30.00++ to $50.00++ minimum for dinner.
Beverage requirements and options are outlined on the attached
beverage information sheet. All menu selections must be made one week
prior to the event date. Final guest count must be made three
business days prior to the date of the event.

I wonder if we can do much less per person (~$15) for ~50-60 people, if its drinks and perhaps one ordered appetizer. The idea being people are throwing $10 to at least one drink, and $5 up front no matter what
for the appetizer.

I'll call them.
