Hmm... 2005: "I stop developing the library because I turned to Python." I think he lost his motivation because that's when RoR really took off, and he didn't get any support. I have a theory about why Ruby is so popular: scripters are used to Perl!  :-P it's pretty fun to work with actually and it was easy to learn the fundamentals, took about 3-4 hours setting up a log parser that transferred remote logs to a db backend. and i'm no speed demon. regards Cornelius
