this can be a little difficult... client receives only HTML, and the only thing to do is to connect the button to a script that exec the scanner program, but, well, it WAS possible in windows, using VBScript, but now i think it's automaticaly blocked (do you realy want that an html page can access to you program with your user privileges??)
