If you're using EOModeler (vs Entity Modeler) Eclipse will not
autodetect changed files unless you turn on "Refresh automatically"
in Preferences=>General=>Workspace. Even this is not perfect in sync
because it's a polling mechanism, but it picks it up eventually. You
can also manually refresh by right-clicking on your
project=>Refresh. Entity Modeler directly talks to the Eclipse
workspace API's, so modified files should be immediately detected.
If you're using Entity Modeler and still having this problem, then
you have something much more sinister going on.

Hi All,
Has anyone else noticed that making a change in a model file does
not get reflected properly after doing a clean in Eclipse? I have
to go into the builds folder and throw out the .woa file and then
do a rebuild. In fact, I have a situation now where even that
doesn’t work. I added a new entity to my model and my build does
not contain my latest changes to my model. When I run my
application, I get an error saying that my model doesn’t contain
the plist of the new entity I added. WHAT THE HECK?
Can someone please tell me how the build stuff works? And how I
can get my EOModel changes into my builds, if possible without
having to do a clean?
