2007/2/8, René Bock <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>:
Hi On the first sight, NSPropertyListSerialization.dictionaryForString ability to parse classic property lists and XML PropertyLists looked quite promising for simple data exchange between applications. Further readings of the developer docs yields: "Some methods do not support XML property list representations, specifically booleanForString and intForString." Ok, my use case didn't need to handel numbers and booleans. But a first test showed: the method didn't handle dates as well :-(
Can you post the example with you are working on? Does anybody know of an complete implementation of this method?
Look at this: http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&ct=res&cd=2&url=http%3A%2F%2Fdeveloper.apple.com%2Fdocumentation%2FCocoa%2FConceptual%2FPropertyLists%2FPropertyLists.pdf&ei=lOvKRfK7FqKw-ALnwvSPCg&usg=__3o5UkiuHh45i4UDDPkt17somz5A=&sig2=6TQHa_U0JegRk-cnDXyVuQ I hoped to find a ERXPropertyListSerialization in Project Wonder, but
nothing to find...
