OK - I just noticed that it goes back to 7:30 PM in April, so I guess we need to understand a little more about your app and how it stores dates before it's possible to help.

I wrote this bit of code to test things out and verify the change:

NSTimeZone localtime = NSTimeZone.timeZoneWithName("US/ Eastern", true); NSTimestampFormatter formatter = new NSTimestampFormatter("% m/%d/%y %H:%M %Z");
        NSTimestamp start, end;
        try {
start = (NSTimestamp) formatter.parseObject("03/11/2007 00:00 US/Eastern"); end = (NSTimestamp) formatter.parseObject("03/11/2007 07:00 US/Eastern"); System.out.println("Uses for start:"+localtime.isDaylightSavingTimeForTimestamp(start)); System.out.println("Uses for end:"+localtime.isDaylightSavingTimeForTimestamp(end));
            System.out.println("Local Start:"+start.toLocaleString());
            System.out.println("GMT Start:"+start.toGMTString());
            System.out.println("Local End:"+end.toLocaleString());
            System.out.println("GMT End:"+end.toGMTString());

System.out.println("Hours:"+(end.getTime() - start.getTime ())/1000/60/60);

        } catch (Exception e) {
                System.out.println("Exception:"+e.getMessage());
                e.printStackTrace();
        }

Yes, I know - there's use of some deprecated methods - but it still works. If this code returns 6 hours, then the timezone data has been fixed. If it says 7 hours, it hasn't.

But I don't get the DST fix. All the times are wrong in three different WO calendar sites, even though <cat /System/Library/Frameworks/JavaWebObjects.framework/ Resources/version.plist>
says I've got WO 5.3.3 running.

Notice the event times on March 6th and 13th, for a weekly <repeating event>.

Baiss,

Actually, I'd be willing to bet this actually *proves* you have the DST fix. If you didn't, you wouldn't be seeing a change across March 11th, it would be across April 1. It's my guess that you're storing the dates in GMT and adjusting to local time... in which case, everything is working correctly (from a Java DST point of view anyway).
