I don't know for certain if that is your problem, but I try to keep that plugin up to date. The FrontBasePlugIn.framework and frontbasejdbc.jar need to updated on the WO app servers when the DB is updated.

If that does not work, start logging SQL and track down which columns in the WHERE clause are failing. There was a recent DST switch. Have you patched or updated WebObjects for that? If not, that could cause this sort of error.

Hi,

I've upgraded my db to Frontbase 4.2.x.

I'm running WebObjects 5.x.x app servers that access the db server.

I just wanted to check but I I'm thinking I'll have to install the 2.6.4 WebObjects plugin on my WebObjects servers too to get the corresponding FrontBasePlugIn.framework and frontbasejdbc.jar that is compatible with the FrontBase 4.2.x db?

The app server is a G4 XServe running 10.3.x while the db server is a intel XServe running 10.4.x

I'm getting these errors in my app log:

updateValuesInRowDescribedByQualifier -- com.webobjects.jdbcadaptor.JDBCChannel method failed to update row in database.

and

com.webobjects.eoaccess.EOGeneralAdaptorException: updateValuesInRowDescribedByQualifier -- com.webobjects.jdbcadaptor.JDBCChannel method failed to update row in database

I'm thinking these errors are a result of some kind of version incompatibility.

Has anyone else experience this?

All the code is the same just the db switch.

Thanks for any tips!
