That should have caused the Deaths count in JM to go up and up and up. Deaths above 0 is the sign of a problem.

I think I got it.

It turns out the app was exiting almost immediately. Auto Recover was kicking the app back on without me knowing it was even turned off. I changed a directory path (the app was exiting if it couldn't write a file to it) and now and now it seems to work properly. I never would have thought to look for that except I kept seeing error message blips in the application logs I had open. They would disappear as soon as Auto Recover turned the app back on.

Thanks for all great assistance. This is what I call a Developer Community!

This may not go thru to list due to pics, but here it is anyway

Quick checklist:
*) Is Apache running?

Yes

and WO Services running?

Yes

*) Basic site configured for port 80

Yes. I have my domain in the Domain Name field. Everything else is the same. I also have a line with Domain Name: localhost, IP Address: Any, Port: 80

*) Performance Cache OFF (Repeat OFF OFF OFF OFF OFF OFF OFF OFF OFF OFF OFF OFF OFF OFF OFF OFF )

Was ON. Is now OFF for both lines

*) WO

I will try everything again now that performance caching is turned off.

Thanks again,

Scott

Thanks for that. I knew there were a slew of other launch args I needed, but I hadn't had a chance to look at them.

Here is the Java Monitor breakdown. Right now I have. . .

Hosts --
Host name: localhost 127.0.0.1 Available: Yes Type: MACOSX Running Instances: 1

Applications --
Running 1 Configured 1

Configuring Application "MyApp"
Mac OS X Path: /Library/WebObjects/Applications/MyApp.woa/MyApp
Auto Recover: true
Caching Enabled: true
Output Path: /tmp

Additional Args:
-WODirectConnectEnabled false -EOAdaptorDebugEnabled false - WOSessionTimeOut 900 -Xms256m -Xmx512m

Still getting No instance available / App not found.

Thanks for the persistent help,

Scott
