Wow .. The vertical example in here is CRAZY. They actually override a relationship with a different definition of the same name. I would never have the balls to try this with EOF :)

hehe. Yes, I know, but I was hoping it would at least answer some of your questions. I always thought that it was a bit CRAZY myself. I don't think I would trust the example in full, but hopefully it will be somewhat useful to you.
This is actually my fear, that they've modeled something that isn't even actually legit in EOF. Since EOModeler doesn't actually provide a way to create vertical inheritance, the knowledge of how to do it properly blows on the breeze like yarns of our forefathers.

But regardless, this thing is actually a good demo of what they at least THINK you can do.
