For answers to your questions:
1. Well, if you read the comments from others who have pleaded for
some sort of sign from Apple, there will be none. I have no idea
where or how to lobby Apple. They work in mysterious ways.
2. There's an Eclipse + WOLips wiki already. The JC info could be a
sub category. I'm assuming that Eclipse would be the IDE since the
consensus is XCode no longer the best choice for WO development.
