AFAIK .... most people are using Java 5 with WO and Wonder from CVS head requires Java 5. Something is up with your Eclipse configuration. BTW ... Eclipse 4.2.2 + WOLips 4118 (stable update URL) + WO 5.3.3 + Java 5 is the probably the stable "community recommended version" at the moment.

Check your settings for Java 5 source compatability, then clean all projects and rebuild everything ..... even restart Eclipse.

Check workspace Preferences for Java/Compiler and Java/Installed JREs

and check your project Build Path/Libraries for JVM 1.5

Hi List, I can't seem to get wolips and wo5.3.3 to launch with java 5. I get an UnsupportedClassVersionError when the class loader tries to load application.Application. Do people successfully use java5 + wo5.3 + wolips?

I've changed the java version using the Java Preferences.app and eclipse shows java 5.0 as the default compiler. Switching to have my app use project-specific settings with java 1.4 works like a charm.

I'm starting to play with Wonder which seems to use java 5 (annotations) so any help you guys can provide is much appreciated.
