We deploy our WO apps as servlets so JavaMonitor doesn¹t work for us. We use

http://wrapper.tanukisoftware.org/

It doesn¹t provide the management interface to deploy apps and such but it
is pretty decent as far as monitoring the process and restarting it if there
is a problem.
