We don't specifically try to support 5.2.3, but we don't specifically try NOT to either. This error you're seeing doesn't make sense to me at all. AjaxAutoComplete is synchronizeVariablesWithBindings false, so it should not be checking for methods. I'm not sure why you would be getting those errors 5.2.3 vs 5.3, but I don't use 5.2.3 at all, so I can't say for sure.

Hi,
Can someone please confirm that the wonder Ajax Framework does need WO 5.3 to work correctly and cannot be used on a WO 5.2.4 install (Deployment is 5.3).

I get Errors when trying out the autocomplete Component and I need to make sure, that those errors are NOT originating from my development environment.

Errors are like:
<WorkerThread2> com.webobjects.foundation.NSKeyValueCoding $UnknownKeyException: [<com.webobjects.appserver.WOComponent name: AjaxAutoComplete subcomponents: null > takeValueForKey()]: attempt to assign value to unknown key: 'isLocal'. This WOComponent does not have an instance variable of the name isLocal or _isLocal, nor a method of the name setIsLocal or _setIsLocal

when setting the isLocal binding, for example. Whatever binding I set, I get this kind of error.

Yes I put the Framework into Library/Frameworks. Yes I added it to my project (thus I can see the component and choose it).

Sorry if this is the wrong list for the question.

Thanks,

Ute
