I'm trying to go through all the versioning e-mails and was wondering,
what if you've upgraded a machine from Tiger to Leopard, but haven't
upgraded the Webobjects or xcode tools? What I want to do is develop
on Leopard and deploy on Tiger Server. Should I just not update
Webobjects on my Leopard box, or is that too simplistic a solution?
Things seem to be working ok under this configuration on my Leopard
machine, but I haven't tried deploying yet. I'm still at Eclipse
3.2.2. Not sure what version of Wonder I'm using (i.e. the
erExtension packages), how do you find that out?
Thanks,
Jeff

If you feel like being a guinea pig here is a script you can use on
leopard for switching between WO 5.4 and WO 5.3 when using eclipse
+wolips. It's lightly tested on my system, ie, I just knocked it up
a little while ago, and it didn't break anything, that I noticed.
The script automagically downloads and installs the WO 5.3.3 runtime
into /Developer/WebObjects53 and allows you to switch your
wobuild.properties between the two WO installs by typing 'woswitch
54' or 'woswitch 53'
If it works for you great, if it doesn't and trashes your system,
don't feel bad, you probably aren't the only one. Use it at your own
risk. The only files it should mess with are ~/Library/
wobuild.properties, "should" being the operative word.
