I think we can all agree that dates are no fun to work with no matter
what language/platform you're working with. I've been doing this for
27 years and I've had to work with dates in older languages such as C,
Pascal, BASIC and Fortran as well as PHP and Java. It's never fun no
matter what!
But it is a necessary evil!
