Goal: The old 10.4 server will continue to run WebObjects 5.3 and
all the five deployed WOApplications, it is currently running WO
5.3, FrontBase, and Apache all together.
NOTE: From <Server Admin>, <WebObjects>, <Settings>; I see:
"To avoid problems, only one server per ethernet subnet should be
running Monitor at any time."
So, I will only have JavaMonitor run on the 10.4 Server.
Doing all that and booting the 10.5 server as the new DNS server I
now get:
The requested URL /cgi-bin/WebObjects/thedances was not found on
this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to
use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Apache/2.2.6 (Unix) mod_ssl/2.2.6 OpenSSL/0.9.7l Server at www.
thedances.org Port 80
**********************
If the URL I see in the browser is:
http://www.thedances.org/cgi-bin/WebObjects/thedances
but I want it to go to <http://(subnet +1)/cgi-bin/WebObjects/thedances
What do I do in <apache.conf>, or whatever file, on the 10.5 server
to make it so that the line below
http://www.thedances.org/cgi-bin/WebObjects/thedances
in which the DNS server is on IP x.x.x.227 and the WebObjects server
is on IP x.x.x.228, executes?
