I also get the same thing switching between java and template, but
cannot see any pattern to it. I guess I ought to update to the
latest build and write up a bug if it continues...
This is a known bug, and I'm not even sure it's our bug ... The stack
trace of the NPE doesn't have any of our plugins in it, but it's been
around since we switched to 3.3. I have yet to get a reproducible
case, though, so it's unlikely I can even explore it to see if it's
our fault until I can.
