I do think WO's "getting started" story
really sucks right now, and I hope we can make that better.  Getting
up-and-running with Rails is very easy ... The equivalent process in
WO is pretty annoying.  But things like Jeremy's WOlips installer will
hopefully make that much better, and I think we're continually moving
the tools side forward towards greater ease-of-use.

I agree with this, I think WO would be a heck of a lot better sell if other developers could just jump in easily and try it out. Right now, there are enough hoops to jump through, and the perception of it dying on the vine are enough to push many people away from even seriously thinking about it, much less applying the time needed to get their head around what's needed to get up and running.

This is why I asked the original question. I think it would be really cool if the guys in this groups (and any of the many other such groups) were made aware and shown the possibilities.

The WOLips/Wonder people are doing amazing work. The more talented people that know, the better, from my perspective.
