The "JSON-RPC over messaging-queue" is in the LEWOStuff framework and
is deployed on more than one project. The system described in my
previous email is built into an application (not public and not a
framework) although I do intend to produce an infrastructure that
works in a slightly different manner to the same end sometime
2009-2011 (depending on when the need arises) which will be in
LEWOStuff. Some of the plumbing for this is already in place within
the framework.

That's a lovely solution. Is this functionality part of your
frameworks? (besides the JSON-RPC-stuff)
I also like the distributed aspect, that could be useful in my case.
Besides, you planted a seed in my brain - now my fingers are itching
to write something like a simple Xgrid-style server/client to
perform distributed EOF-operations. :-)
