Hi!Is your server running OS X Server? If so, you need to run a script (I don't recall the name, check the documentation) to adjust everything that needs to be adjusted.
Anyway, what I do is adding -WOHost to everything. The wotaskd and womonitor launch scripts, the application arguments, etc. And, as Chuck said, setting the host IP to the real IP, not the loopback.
Good luck, getting that right is always a PITA. Yours Miguel Arroz On 2009/02/20, at 20:41, Jeff Schmitz wrote:
It's that time of year. I just setup my server at the colo site, so of course it has a new IP. I booted it up and everything looked good. I tried to start my app from Monitor, but it dies. I look in the webobjects error log and the normal application log, and there are no errors, it looks like everything started up correctly, although I did get a couple of warnings in webobjects.err:You are referencing er.extensions.ERXPatternLayout but should use er.extensions.logging.ERXPatternLayout instead Feb 20 14:33:53 N/A[N/A] (ERXLogger.java:211) INFO org.apache.log4j.Logger - Updated the logging configuration with the current system properties. What is it I've forgotten to do that is required when your IP address changes? The host is setup as 127.0.0.1.Thanks, Jeff _______________________________________________ Do not post admin requests to the list. They will be ignored.
