Thanks for the pity. :)  Yeah, no spaces in the path (standard install),
nothing funky with NEXT_ROOT or TEMP.  It should be trying to write out the
file to the temp directory (instead of /).  I'm an administrator on the
computer and have write access to the normal places to write (including the
root of C:).
Oh well, thanks for your thoughts!
