yllan,

year over year it's the same song ....
I can understand your problem : http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/ MZStore.woa/wa/viewAlbum?i=261634423&id=261634131&s=143442

Predict the future is a very hard task, very error prone exercice :

Apple vs Java : http://finance.yahoo.com/q/bc? t=5y&s=AAPL&l=on&z=m&q=l&c=JAVA Sorry, Apple vs Oracle : http://finance.yahoo.com/q/bc? t=2y&s=ORCL&l=on&z=m&q=l&c=AAPL

It's clear that Apple is doing big business today , directly with the help of WebObjects but for my (2 cents ) point of view, the only thing I know today is very simple :

We don't know what Apple will do in the future with WebObjects and that's a major trouble for some of us ....

You can consider other alternatives like Hibernate : http:// blog.xebia.com/2009/02/07/hibernate-and-multi-threading/
