My setSelectedGpci() method in the component never gets called. :-/
I have not done much with ajax so this may not apply.
I thought selection is the value the user has selected after the form
is submitted. So this would be an element in the gpciList array.
selectedValue is what should be selected as a predefined value when
the user first looks at the pop-up. What happens when you add a
binding for selectedValue. It would be another element in gpciList.
